WHAT DO I DO IF?

Listed below are frequently asked questions with regards to timesheets, payroll and general questions relating to our temporary staff. If we have missed something out please let us know!

TIMESHEETS


Q. What do I do if I do not receive my timesheet?
A. A please download a copy of the timesheet from this website remembering to put the Company’s name and your name clearly in the box at the top. Keep a copy for yourself, one for the client and two for Carousel Payroll.
Q. What do I do if I forget to send my timesheet in one week, should I put both weeks on one time sheet?
A. NO, each week worked must have a separate timesheet; it is not acceptable to put two weeks onto one timesheet.
Q. What do I do if I work at different companies in the same week, can I use the same timesheet?
A. NO, you must use a separate timesheet for each company.
Q. What do I do if I forget to send my timesheet in on time, can I fax it?
A. We do not accept faxed copies. Please call your Consultant/Payroll and they will let you know if you have missed the payroll deadline.
Q. What do I do if I cannot get my timesheet signed?
A. Call us immediately to confirm if there is anyone else who is authorised to sign it. If there is no one else on site, Carousel will try to get authorisation from the client via email.

PAYMENTS


Q. What do I do if I have not given my bank details to Carousel Consultancy Ltd?
A. A cheque will be made payable to you, you can collect the cheque from our office and receive cash from our bank or we will send it to your home address. Please advise payroll which option you prefer.
Q. What do I do if I think I have not been paid?
A. Call us immediately and speak to Payroll. It is quite usual for your salary not to show in your bank account until Friday afternoon.
Q. What do I do if I think my tax allocation is wrong?
A. Please call the payroll department on 020 7420 8086.

GENERAL


Q. What do I do if I am running late for my assignment?
A. Don't panic, call us immediately and we will alert the client. Communication is key and more often then not the client will be understanding.
Q. What do I do if I am ill and cannot go to work?
A. Ring us immediately, Carousel has someone in the office from 7.30am everyday 020 7240 2833.
Q. What do I do if I do not like my assignment?
A. Contact us immediately, do not just walk out, we will assess the situation and organise a replacement for you.
Q. What do I do if the client asks me to stay on another week?
A. Please inform your consultant immediately even if you don't wish to extend your assignment so that the paperwork can be updated and most important of all – you get paid.
